2026 Steele County E-Waste Collection Day Give your old electronics a new purpose while helping build a stronger, more resilient Steele County! United Way of Steele County is proud to support the 2026 Steele County E-Waste Collection Day on Saturday, July 25, from 9:00 a.m. to Noon at the Steele County Fairgrounds. This community event is coordinated by The Retrofit Companies in collaboration with the Steele County Free Fair. Proper disposal and recycling of electronics helps reduce waste, conserve valuable resources, and protect our environment—important components of United Way's commitment to community resiliency. By working together to responsibly manage electronic waste, we're investing in a healthier, more sustainable future for everyone in Steele County. You'll also find United Way volunteers on-site assisting with the collection effort and helping ensure the event runs smoothly. As an added benefit, a portion of the proceeds generated from the event will support our annual campaign, helping fund local programs and initiatives that strengthen our community. Clean out your basement, garage, or office and join us in making a positive impact - one electronic item at a time!
