Workforce Experience Grant

The Owatonna Area Chamber of Commerce and Tourism was awarded a $30,000 workforce grant for 2025 to support student work experiences with local business.

The funds will connect students with employers giving the student real life work experience paid through the grant.

Workforce Grant Application

Each business can access up to $15/hour for up to 160 hours to help cover cost of a high school student gaining work experience at their business. The business gets some help and help a student learn about a possible career.
