CliftonLarsonAllen (CLA) of Owatonna is a large firm with a small business mentality. CLA exists to create opportunities for their clients, their people, and their communities. Although they have the resources of a national tax and financial services firm, they are committed to serving the personalized needs of the greater Owatonna community. Businesses and individuals can count on CLA to deliver personalized audit, assurance, accounting, tax, consulting, outsourcing, and wealth advisory services. Their certified public accountants, consultants, and advisors serve the Owatonna area and communities across southern Minnesota, in collaboration with other CLA offices in Austin, Mankato, New Ulm and Rochester.
While operating in the COVID-19 pandemic, many businesses have had to face unforeseen circumstances and challenges. From the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) to SBA loan programs, CLA of Owatonna has been there to provide critical guidance to their clients for how to best tackle financial challenges created by the COVID-19 pandemic.
CLA has also been providing learning opportunities throughout 2020 with their complementary live webinar series! Topics ranging from PPP information, to financial planning, to discussion of federal bills, and more are included in previous and future webinars.
Community is an important aspect of business at CLA. CLA of Owatonna is a proud sponsor of local youth sports and activities and an active partner with local organizations including Junior Achievement, the United Way of Steele County and the Southern MN Initiative Foundation.
Since its inception in 2015, the CLA Foundation has granted over $4 million in grants to advance career opportunities in communities across the nation. These grants are focused in three areas which are education, employment, and entrepreneurship. The CLA Foundation is unique as it does not accept grant proposals directly from outside organizations. All grant nominations originate with CLA team members — each year CLA team members are invited to nominate organizations they believe are making a difference in their community and match the foundation’s mission to promote and support diverse individuals and organizations by connecting networks, advancing work readiness, and creating career opportunities.
