All of these opportunities will enhance your presence throughout the business community and you’ll have a great time getting involved! If you’d like to volunteer, send a message to oacct@owatonna.org.

    ANNUAL DINNER COMMITTEE

Be a part of one of the largest networking events in Owatonna with over 200 community leaders in attendance by joining our Annual Dinner Committee. This event highlights the accomplishments of the previous year as well as the upcoming year’s plan of action. Annual Dinner Committee meetings run monthly from October – January.

    Y-PRO COMMITTEE

Our Y-Pro committee meets monthly and is responsible for the programming, planning, and execution of the Y-Pro group and its Pass Holders. Because of this committee, young professionals in the Owatonna Area have the opportunity to network with one another through various social, community engagement, and professional development opportunities.

    Grow Minnesota!

Committee is a business retention and expansion program conducted statewide as well as in the Owatonna area. During the course of nine months (January -Septmeber), committee members set up and visit 30 local businesses to conduct a survey. Meetings are held for one hour to discuss progress of the visits.

    Public Policy Committee

Advocates a friendlier business environment. Join the committee each legislative session for conference call updates at the OACCT; calls are hosted by the Minnesota Chamber.

    Membership Committee

Markets the benefits of Chamber membership to non-member businesses in the Owatonna area through prospect visits The committee also makes visits to first two year members of the OACCT to answer questions and encourage involvement in upcoming events.

    MainStreet Committee

Mission is to enhance, revitalize and redevelop Owatonna’s central business district. Committee oversees MainStreet’s participation in: design and business improvement through promotion, downtown clean-up, hanging flower baskets and other activities.

    Golf Committee

Join our golf committee to get involved in one of the Owatonna Area Chamber of Commerce & Tourism’s largest and most enjoyable events of the year! This fun and stress free event needs committee members to help plan for the event, help to find sponsors, and be there to help out on the day of the event. Golf Committee meetings run monthly from April – August.
